NextLevel (2011-present)
Start-up professional services firm that provides executive and board services to public and privately-held clients. The staff of NVO provides all of the company’s accounting services electronically.

Newport Board Group (2011-present)
National professional service firm that assists clients in transitions and performance improvement. The staff of NVO provides all of the company’s accounting services electronically.

Rocky River Capital Partners (2010-present)
Online pet product retailer. Hired to facilitate buyout of the partnership. Retained to assist with the transition and implement budgeting, cash management and improved accounting procedures in anticipation of rapid growth. The staff of NVO provides the company’s accounting services remotely and electronically.

evo (2010-2012)
Hired as contract CFO at this online active-lifestyle clothing and sporting goods retailer.

Burro Brand Ghana, Ltd. (2010-2011)
Ghana-based company working to deliver high-quality, affordable goods and services to low-income families in the developing world. Retained to train accounting staff and review projections for the start-up company in Koforidua, Ghana, Africa.

Onlineshoes.com (2007–2010)
Online shoe and apparel retailer that also owns retail brick & mortar stores. Hired as an executive financial consultant and trained accounting staff, established budget and began cash management and strategic planning program, streamlined processes, and guided company through first external audit.

Measurement Systems International (1997-2011)
Manufactures and sells industrial weighing and process control solutions internationally. Services provided consisted of designing meaningful manufacturing cost and financial reports, training accounting staff, educating executive management to utilize financial reports for decision-making purposes and preparation of projections. In 2011, assisted the owner in selling the company.

Ramp Technology Group (2005-2008)
Professional service firm that designs and develops custom software applications. Debi was a member of the executive management team, managed the finance department and assisted with preparation of projections, cashflow forecasts and a due diligence project.

Par3 Communications (2005-2007)
The Company provided automated communication systems to Fortune 100 companies before it was acquired by Varoli Corporation. Established and managed the budget process on an annual basis for the company.

Beresford Company (2005–2006)
The Company sells and installs commercial flooring, primarily for schools throughout the Pacific Northwest. Debi was hired as interim controller and to clean up the accounting records, including financial statements, tax returns and other accounting records and to hire and train accounting staff.

Housevalues.com (2000-2001)
Online marketing tool for real estate and mortgage professionals. Served as part-time, temporary controller/CFO in the company’s early stages. Managed and trained accounting staff and oversaw the conversion from Quickbooks to Great Plains.

Lariat Software (2000-2001)
Lariat developed and sold software that monitored and measured streaming media and was ahead of technology by a couple years so was unable to stay in business. Debi established policies and procedures, hired and trained an accounting department, established a budgeting and financial reporting process and turned the department over to a permanent controller that she assisted in hiring.

National Energy Systems Company (1996-2002)
Parent company to various energy and forest product companies. Debi cleaned up the accounting records and assisted in the hiring and training of accounting staff and then assisted with various projects once internal staff was efficiently and accurately running the accounting department.

Sumas Cogeneration Company (1996-2002)
Debi managed the accounting records for the development and operations of cogeneration power plant. The company was a subsidiary of National Energy Systems Company.

SOCCO Forest Products (1996-1998)
Lumber drying and heat treating subsidiary of National Energy Systems Company utilizing the steam from Sumas Cogeneration plant. Debi established the accounting policies and procedures, cash management and financial reporting and trained a high school graduate to run the office and report weekly and monthly financial information to the corporate office.

Wizbang Software Company (1996-2000)
Software game developer. Established accounting policies and procedures and trained one of the owner’s wives debits and credits so she could do all of the accounting, including generating and analyzing monthly financial reports.

Alliance for Education (5/97-10/97)
This non-profit organization was one of the primary sources of private fundraising for Seattle public schools. Debi served as interim controller/CFO during its early stages in establishing controls and procedures, generating financial statements, training staff and preparing for the first external audit.

Westin Hotel Company (9/86-4/97)
Owns and manages hotels around the world. Debi performed many financial, accounting and system projects for executive and financial management of the company including serving as coordinator with investment bankers, preparing projections and managing the due diligence process for several M&A transactions, including the sale of hotel and the acquisition of the company by United Airlines; financial/accounting project manager working with the Marketing Department in the implementation of the Westin frequent traveler program, including connecting it with the United Airlines frequent traveler program; assisted with the conversion of the accounting system to JD Edwards; prepared the company for annual audits for several years and acted as liaison between the auditors, accounting department and executive management.
