The NVO team is comprised of individuals, all with varying experience levels so the needs and desires of our clients can be filled with qualified, but appropriately priced resources on a part-time or full-time basis. Our lack of overhead further allows us to provide the lowest possible rates for high-quality, responsive accounting. Employees are carefully selected to fill the exact roles our clients need and want.
Our employees continually work to find the most efficient way to perform tasks without sacrificing accuracy. Because of our flexible work schedules, we are usually available at times when internal accounting departments, or other remote offices, are not. Not every accounting issue arises between 8:59 AM and 5:01 PM, and for that reason we make ourselves available at all hours possible.

To the extent possible, we operate a paperless work environment where
all documents are stored electronically, or recycle when electronic
storage is not possible. We encourage our clients to do the same.

NVO plays a proactive, cooperative and collaborative role in making the world a better place to live and conduct business.
Members of the NVO team have donated volunteer time to various nonprofits and organizations. Such initiatives have included:
- Volunteer finance and accounting services to a start-up company engaged in the business of leasing rechargeable batteries to the people in villages in Ghana, Africa.
- Helped in rebuilding an orphanage in Galle, Sri Lanka after the tsunami.
- Served as treasurer and secretary of various non-profit public school organizations whose purpose was the well-being and education of youth.
- Served on the board of a nonprofit organization which raised the necessary funds to begin an enology and viticulture department at Washington State University.
- Served on the board of a nonprofit organization which raised funds for athletics at Washington State University.
- Trained and mentored college students majoring in finance and accounting.
